We were invited to go to a football game by our new neighbors. It was a High School game, a rival H.S. game... held at the College. We knew we were in a huge football town but we never expected to see what we did. We have NEVER waited in a line so long to buy a ticket to see a H.S. football game. The boys were so excited to see who they knew at the game, because you know that all the families and kids that attend school in the area were there. Some wore Green for Sante Fe and the others wore Navy Blue for Edmond North. We were on the Edmond North side... Some bad calls and some great plays later Edmond North won, 14 to 13.
The boys kept themselves busy on a grassy hill with cardboard boxes. They had invented their own slide. Leave it to Boys to come up with something out of nothing. All the kids around were seeing how fast they could go and who could crash the hardest... for me it was a new challenge "how do I get RED dirt out of clothing".
All in all we had a great night and saw a good game.
