Another School year has come and gone. We have enjoyed many good times up at the Boys school. They had great teachers,Coaches and friend! We have been very blessed to have all of these people in our lives this year.
Burton had a chance to spend a great deal of time with his long time buddy Tyler they were in the same class this year and I think that the two of them really liked that. They have been friends since they were 3yrs. old and meet in pre-school. They had some fun projects that they had a chance to work on together. One of them was so last minute.... They completed a Marble Maze in the week that it was due and ended up taking 4th place out of the class. Those were good memories of the two boys and their dads in our garage up late sipping on soda and timing how fast or slow the marble would go. The were trying to get the longest time possible. I think that their best time ended up being 24.9 seconds. They were so stoked!!
Braxton had a recorder concert.... he had much anticipation the nerves were getting the best of him but his teacher Mrs. Robb gave him some wonderful advice to ease the tension. She told him to just pretend and nobody would even know. He thought that this was to funny that his teacher was telling him to fake something.... He stood up there and couldn't control the smile behind the recorder while looking directly at Mrs. Robb. That was a great moment for me to see... He definitely has a connection with Mrs. Robb.
Braxton had another special person in his day .... sometimes he would go and visit her daily. Life is so good when you have a school nurse that is so sweet and communicates with the parents. That makes my job as a Mom easier and game me peace knowing that he had someone so motherly there for him. Thank you Mrs. Black we will miss you this next year!!
Boston had a fun year he thought that he was the luckiest kid alive to have his good buddy Tyler Y. in his class! I am not so sure that Mrs. Norris thought the same. She had a rambunctious class this hear with all the boys! She still managed to do such fun things with the kids. At the end of the year she had a power point presentation for all of us parents showing us all the fun stuff that they did though out the school year. I was there for most of the activities. It was still so nice to see all of it put so nicely to music, what a wonderful gift for us to hold on to for Boston to look at as he grows older. We are still processing the thought and reality that we are going to be moving. The boys talk about how different it will be without their friend and going to a new school Burton is a little excited at the thought that they have Middle School there and he will be at a different school than his brothers. I will keep all of you in the loop with what town we end up in and how we all will be adjusting. We are going to make the most of our summer and enjoy Family and Friends every chance we get.
